Peter Murray Joins Firstdrill
Firstdrill Ltd is pleased to announce that Mr Peter Murray has accepted the position of Operations Manager with our company. He will be based at our Head Office in Bournemouth, UK.
Mr Murray has over 33 years experience in the Drilling Department of the oil and gas industry. During his career, he has worked extensively with major oil companies such as BP and Shell. He has both onshore and offshore experience in some of the world’s most isolated areas, from the remote jungle in Ecuador to the cooler climates in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska.
Peter Redman, Firstdrill's Managing Director, released the following statement:
I first met Peter Murray in 1986, when he was BP Drilling Manager specialising in Slim Hole Drilling Operations. Over the years I have gained a great deal of respect for his abilities as a Drilling Engineer, and his qualities as a person. I wish Peter every success and happiness with Firstdrill Ltd
Mr Murray will assist in managing Firstdrill's day to day global drilling operations, and supporting our international operations managers’. His technical knowledge and ability will no doubt be very constructive to Firstdrill’s clients, as well as appreciated by all our employees within the company.
