Mike Hazell accepts Non Executive Director position
Firstdrill is pleased to announce that Mr. Mike Hazell has agreed to accept our invitation to become a Non Executive Director of Firstdrill Limited. Mike Hazell has over 35 years experience in the industry. He spent much of his career working with BP where he held various senior drilling positions in the UK, Norway, Canada, USA, Nigeria, Angola and Qatar.
He has been involved in the planning and implementation of many diverse drilling projects, both onshore and offshore. These have included the Wytch Farm extended reach drilling project and deep water drilling projects in West Africa. He is a chartered Mechanical Engineer and a member of the SPE. We are very pleased he will be working with us in the future, he will be a major asset to the team and will surely contribute to our success.
