Firstdrill achieves ISO 9001
Firstdrill Limited, an independent drilling and engineering project management company, has achieved the internationally recognised ISO 9001, placing it in a exclusive minority and establishing it as a leader in its field.
The Bournemouth based company was independently assessed by the British Accreditation Bureau earlier this year and after achieving the stringent criteria, was awarded the accreditation.
Jonny Townsend, General Manager of Firstdrill Ltd, commented, "We are extremely pleased to have achieved ISO 9001 certification. It clearly demonstrates our commitment to the service industry and further shows the outstanding quality of our customer service and ability to achieve first class results. Not many customers get to see their suppliers 'back-office' activities. This recognition demonstrates we can provide a quality solution from first evaluation to final delivery."
Firstdrill has now earned the right to display the coveted British Accreditation Bureau Quality Shield and ISO 9001 logo which confirms its conformance to the high standard.
ISO 9001 was first introduced in 1987 and requires organisations to demonstrate they have a quality management system in place to ensure consistency in high levels of performance and customer satisfaction. Accredited organisations must be committed to continuous improvement and are assessed annually to ensure quality is maintained.
